About Us
Everywhere on the Eastern Shore people are working to research their family histories, or are researching related topics to further document Delmarva history. There seems an appetite for workships and interaction to complete and share family histories. The Eastern Shore shares common histories. In addition, family ties extend beyond our borders, particularly with Baltimore, Philadelphia, Norfold, Washington, D.C. and a host of nearby areas. A few of us felt that the challenge with all our research is distance and a lack of ways to network. We hope that this can be a another tool to help us with our work.
Kimberly Conway Dumpson and I, along with many interested in this effort, are working to come together for this purpose.
